What We Do

outdoor yoga class

The primary purpose and mission of North Coast Integrative Care & Wellness Inc. is to improve public access to integrative care and wellness services. NCIC is a charitable and educational organization that supports the community's health and well-being by increasing public knowledge and access to integrative/complementary healthcare and wellness services.

NCIC’s secondary purpose is to support economic development in the wellness tourism industry by working with hotels to offer tourists integrative care and wellness services. These services will benefit the public, increase employment opportunities for local integrative care providers, and stimulate funding for the organization's charitable and educational community-based wellness programs. NCIC will also provide support to integrative care providers so that they can better advance their skills and serve the community and NCIC’s charitable and educational purposes.

Current Actions we are taking in the community in 2025

  • NCIC is planning an annual integrative care and wellness fair featuring educational workshops, keynote speakers, demonstrations, and more.

  • NCIC is increasing public awareness of integrative care and wellness offerings in the Clatsop County region by maintaining the NCIC Facebook social media page as a free educational community resource.

  • NCIC is supporting local integrative care and wellness providers by hosting monthly provider meetups, maintaining a digital service provider directory, and connecting providers with organizations seeking their services.

Long-Term Goals beyond 2025

  • In the future, NCIC intends to contract with public schools, healthcare organizations, non-profit organizations, hotels, and other community businesses seeking certified in-person integrative care practitioners and educational wellness programming for their employees, patients, or clients.

  • NCIC intends to seek funding for and develop community wellness programming that can be offered at no cost to organizations serving vulnerable populations (e.g., the VA, low-income care homes, other nonprofits, etc).

Subject to the limitations stated in the Articles of Incorporation, the purposes of North Coast Integrative Care & Wellness Inc. are organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. What is Integrative Care?

The term integrative can be used interchangeably with holistic, complimentary, and wrap-around healthcare services. North Coast Integrative Care & Wellness is here to help hospitals, school districts, and businesses boost their wellness and integrative care programs in a way that uplifts integrative care providers and provides sustainable implementation and access of these services to the community.

Amanda DeBock, Board Vice President / Co-Founder

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Amanda is deeply passionate about the many facets of healing. Her firsthand experiences with the Western medical model have shaped her understanding and appreciation for the power of self-healing and the body’s innate ability to restore itself. With over a decade of nursing experience, including the past two years in hospice care, Amanda’s personal healing journey began with breathwork. This transformative practice inspired her to become a certified Neurodynamic Breathwork™ Facilitator. Currently, Amanda is training at InnerTrek in Portland, Oregon, to become a Psilocybin Facilitator.
